About Us
Hawke’s Bay Mobile Shearing (HBMS) is the original mobile sheep shearing company in the Hawke’s Bay area. In fact, it’s the only company in New Zealand with fully-equipped mobile shearing trucks. Our fleet is completely self-contained, meaning we cover all shearing and sheep care requirements in one sweeping visit.
Founded by Bruce and Ngaia Richardson in 2001, and handed over to Lachie in 2018, HBMS is a rare gem; we have the benefits of a well-established business, but also a fresh, enthusiastic owner in the drivers’ seat.
SHEARING

FOOT ROTTING
To prevent or treat footrot. We trim hooves and apply footrot spray where needed.
